Masterful Mocking: Giving Haters Credit Where Credit is Due

I always had an unwritten rule as a teacher that if a student could make fun of me in class without being disrespectful and while being extraordinarily clever, then he/she should feel free to shout out a good zinger every once in a while (my former students can feel free to chime in on whether you felt like this was true).

So as I watched the video below outlining the thirteen most ridiculous things about Beyonce's I Am...Yours tour (a concert I saw twice over the summer, in two different cities, because I may be a wee bit of a fan), I had to chuckle.  She is the best performer in the game, period (I can already hear the haters planning their responses), but you have to laugh at the skillful editing of the clip below.

Should Beyonce be amused or offended?  Post away.

Comments:
Pretty funny. I am surprised there was no comment about the constant extreme wind in her hair. In any case, I think for one or two things, you might be able to laugh at yourself. But, thirteen might be a little difficult...

Ok, this bit made me laugh. Seems like it might have been made by a guy who was dragged to 1 too many Beyonce concerts by his girl. I'll give him the birdcage outfit... when I saw that on the TV special I was like, "ummm hello?"

Interestingly enough she was singing that ridiculous "hello" part when I noticed the outfit.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Beyonce though... she is definitely THE best out there vocal wise and I really respect the way she conducts herself and does business. She is a good role model for the most part... and let's face it, my sister and I would never have as much fun at weddings without our loosely choreographed routines to "Crazy In Love" and "Single Ladies."

Random: I was driving home today and saw my 1 year old boy nodding off in the back seat (not good!! need to keep him awake for a REAL nap in 30 minutes) and so I blasted "Single Ladies" he woke right up and started waving his hands around and bopping his head around. He loves Beyonce too. Cutest. Kid. Ever.

LMAO...

That was insane. She is really a machine though and the constant wind in her hair back to back was a little annoying, lol.

lmao, i dont see how her dramatic endings to each set were a negative, though??
