More Facebook Advice: There's Only Room for One Beyonce

I thought I'd written enough about how to properly choose and label pics, but I left out an important word of caution: stop complimenting yourself! It doesn't matter how beautiful the photo is of you; never should you have to place a caption underneath it saying, "Me looking gorgeous at the beach." Aside from the fact that it's grammatically incorrect, including such a tagline in fact begs the following question:

If you were really looking fabulous in the picture, why did you have to tell us?

Long story short, only Bey is allowed to declare herself a diva. Anyone else is just pulling one big Sasha Fake.

Comments:
But we can big up our babies right? Cuz that baby would look soooo gorgeous on the beach.

I agree.. or I hate when people post a status comment just to tell everyone how beautiful they think they are.. here's one I saw last week "When your with your woman, why do you have to break your neck to look at me?".. Really people, ok we get it, someone looked at you, congratulations..

"The Trents": I hope that you are quoting or I must ask you, "what did the apostrophe do to you?" (See previous entry) "When your (vs you're) with your woman..."

Wait... I just have a grammar question Rache. What if there were a comma? "Me, looking gorgeous at the beach." Would it be grammatically correct then?

love this . . . but "bey" is not the only diva. give it up

Micko - in this particular phrase, the word "looking" is a gerund, which requires a possessive pronoun before it. So "me" should be "my."

Uhm, when were we suppose to learn what a gerund is?! LOL!! I may need to go back to school for some grammar lesson... I guess you learn something new everyday!
