Test Your Worth: Are You Googleable?
Entering your name in the text box of America's favorite search engine should produce something. Anything. If your name is John Smith, it will produce millions of things. But you personally should have a few things once you've hit your college years: sports records, science projects, summer internships, an article in your school paper... Does your Facebook or Linked In page count? Debatable.
Pictured is my dad at his computer in the Caribbean, Googling me to see what's new in my life. Luckily, I'll be able to catch him up in person when I head down there next week. I'll be sunbathing while my poor Boston compatriots are pulling the shovels out of their basements. Ha!

Have fun Skerry and find me a nice husband while you're at it!
Oh and one of my ex's definitely googled me weeks ago to see how I was in college. It was a little creepy, lol. I do that every now and then to make sure what is out is good, haha.

I can't believe I've been trying to find my ex-fiance and I can't find her on the internet anywhere. I know she is not computer-savvy, but I would figure something would have her name in there.
I've done searches (google and zaba) and found two old boyfriends who have done quite well for themselves financially. They both claimed they've often thought of me, but I suppose it never occured to them to google me. The zaba one gives age and address with directions. Sadly, I admit that I am an internet stalker.
anonymous,
if the ex is giving his address, he wants to be found. roll up to his house and make it happen!

I would just offer a word of caution... If you've googled a guy or gal, don't let it slip by referring to things that have never come up in conversation.
