Alicia Keys: Preacher Woman
Just got back from her concert, and she did her thing for real. AK is a true musician and lyricist, and I'm especially feeling these couple of lines today: Even when I'm a mess, I still put on a vest with an S on my chest. Oh yes, I'm a superwoman. Yes I am.
So for the group activity of the day, how about we all finish this sentence:
Even when I'm a mess, ____________________.
I'll complete mine once I see five responses from y'all. Sometimes I go into teacher withdrawl and start demanding homework. Forgive me. :-)

Even when I'm a mess, I put things into perspective and think, compared to what's happening in the real world, I'm not really a mess at all...

Even when I'm a mess, I "look unto the hills from whence cometh my help", give my baby girl a hug, and my world's okay. It's then I realize the "S" never left my chest.
Even when I'm a mess, I crack myself up. Like Jo said, it isn't really that bad ...is it ?
