Writing on Pause: Life as a Grown-Up
I haven't written once since the school year started - bad, bad blogger. This September marked the beginning of my foray into school leadership, as I began my post as headmaster at Another Course to College. Lots of new, exciting challenges wait for me each day. But I've definitely been neglecting my other life as an authoress. Knowing that this year would be difficult to focus on fiction writing, I vowed to keep a journal, where I could at least write about my experiences at school. But when I get home, I fall asleep before I even get to open the notebook. Not good. Hopefully I won't lose my abilities; I'm concerned because this is definitely the most boring blog entry I've ever written. Perhaps I can cram in a few short stories during the holiday break, and rev up my creative streak. Right now, I'm searching for a vacation to take over New Years, to celebrate a fairly big birthday. I wanted to do Australia, but for some reason, I couldn't find too many takers. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
